Proofreading & Editing

About this service

As a freelance proofreader and editor, I can help you refine what you're trying to say or just clean up the details with a more quick proofread. I've put my rate down as $35/hr, but what I'd like to do is get a sense of the job and what its scope is. From there I should be able to give you an estimate of price and delivery. I don't really like to give a per word rate as it depends on the complexity of the material. Within the world of publishing, I have the most experience editing children's, YA, and self-help ebooks, and outside of that, I have proofread dozens of court transcripts.
